We are supporting a leading organisation in hiring an experienced Technical Expert - Composite Manufacturing. This hands on role focuses on ensuring high quality composite lamination, build consistency, and right first time component delivery for complex, high performance programmes. The position begins with 1 month in the UK, followed by an ongoing rotation of 3 weeks at the supplier location in India and 1 week back in the UK. The Technical Expert - Composite Manufacturing will: Oversee lamination and lay up activities to ensure compliance with ply books, drawings, and specifications. Conduct in process and final quality inspections of composite components. Monitor material control, curing processes, tooling readiness, and dimensional accuracy. Identify and escalate manufacturing or quality concerns early, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Work closely with supplier production and quality teams to improve process discipline and build consistency. Track supplier progress against programme timing and delivery milestones, ensuring clear communication with internal teams. The Technical Expert - Composite Manufacturing will have: Strong background and deep technical knowledge in composite component manufacturing and structures. Direct experience overseeing lamination and lay up quality. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, ply books, and GDandT requirements.
