Technical Engineer

Job Title: German-Speaking Technical Engineer Location: Lewes, East Sussex, UK, with regular travel to Wuppertal and customer sites across Germany Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE Working Pattern:UK-based, predominantly onsite in Lewes; regular overseas travel and occasional night work TPA Recruit is supporting an established international manufacturer of passenger information systems in the appointment of a German-Speaking Technical Engineer. This UK-based role will provide technical support to the company''s German subsidiary, customers and integration partners. It combines customer-facing technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, system integration, project delivery, installation, training and regular travel to Germany. The successful German-Speaking Technical Engineer will work closely with technical, sales, development and production teams in the UK and Germany. You will manage several projects at once, resolve technical issues, support vehicle-based systems and help customers implement reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support in fluent German and English by telephone, email and onsite visits. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and system integration issues affecting passenger information equipment.
