Technical Engineer Location: Enfield, North LondonSalary: £28,000 - £32,000Start Date: To be discussedI am currently representing a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer within the architectural lighting industry, who is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Engineer to join their growing technical and design team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous technical experience within the lighting industry who is looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will join an experienced team and play an important role in supporting product testing, compliance, technical documentation, quality control and product development.The Role Responsibilities will include: Supporting the technical and design teams across a range of projects and activitiesMaintaining laboratory procedures and processesTracking and managing product testing requests and samplesConducting photometric, thermal and other product testingSupporting product compliance with relevant technical standards and requirementsCoordinating product testing with external testing facilitiesManaging testing requirements relating to standards including EN(phone number removed), CE, UL, IP and fire testingMonitoring and reporting on upcoming lighting and environmental legislation and regulationsManaging and maintaining product technical files in collaboration with the design teamCreating and amending product specification sheets and installation guidesUsing Adobe Creative ..... full job details .....
