Technical Director - Engineering Software Scotland / Hybrid£70,000 - £80,000 + Share Ownership + Bonus + Pension + 28 Days'' Holiday Are you a software engineer with strong programming skills and the commercial drive to take software products to market, win customers and grow revenue? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, privately owned engineering business in a role combining practical software development, technical leadership and product commercialisation. You will take ownership of engineering software products approaching launch, helping turn them into reliable, commercially successful solutions. You will remain actively involved in programming, architecture and technical problem-solving, while setting product direction, leading the development team and working directly with customers. Your impact will extend beyond development. You will help identify market opportunities, demonstrate products, shape pricing and proposals, and lead technical sales conversations. Understanding customers'' engineering challenges and showing how the software solves them will be central to your success. The business needs someone who can set a clear direction, make decisions and maintain momentum, from resolving a technical issue in the code to presenting a compelling solution to a prospective customer.
