Technical Director - Building Services

Our clent is a Building Services (mechanical and electrical) Consultancy specialising in the design and build of data centres in the UK and across Europe. They are looking to recruit a Building Services Technical Director to oversse MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering teams, directing strategic project designs, and driving client relationships. Core Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Overseeing high-profile multidisciplinary projects, largely critical data centres but may include other sectors. Technical Authority: Approving detailed designs, feasibility studies, and specifications across all RIBA work stages. Business Development: Driving new work, negotiating contracts, and acting as the key client interface. Team Development: Mentoring principal engineers, managing team PandL budgets, and building technical capabilities. Qualifications and Experience Chartered Status: You will be chartered. Experience: Extensive UK-based track record operating as a Principal Engineer, Associate Director, or Director within an engineering consultancy. You will have excellent data centre experience, including contacts with major players.
