Technical Designer - Bespoke JoinerySalary: 45,000- 55,000 DOEWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmDepartment: DesignAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Designer to join a busy bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate manufacturing drawings, technical documentation and 3D models for bespoke joinery and furniture projects. The role supports the successful delivery of projects from concept through to manufacture, translating design intent into practical, buildable solutions that meet client requirements, manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.Working closely with Estimating, Project Management, CNC Programming and Manufacturing teams, you will develop detailed production information using SolidWorks/CAD, ensuring drawings are suitable for workshop manufacture and CNC production.The role requires a strong understanding of bespoke joinery construction, furniture manufacturing methods, materials and production processes, together with a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail.Key ObjectivesProduce accurate manufacturing drawings, workshop drawings and production documentation using SolidWorks.Develop detailed 3D models and assemblies that accurately reflect manufacturing requirements.Ensure all technical information is complete, accurate and suitable for workshop manufacture and CNC programming.Interpret architectural ..... full job details .....
