Technical Designer - Fitout (commercial)

Fawkes and Reece are working with a specialist main contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes, looking to bring a Technical Designer into their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of design, producing detailed drawings and supporting the delivery of complex projects from design development through to construction.The RoleAs a Technical Designer, you''ll play a key role in developing and coordinating technical design information across a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the wider design and project teams, you''ll help ensure designs are practical, coordinated and ready for construction.Key responsibilities include:Producing detailed technical drawings and design packages using Revit.Developing coordinated design information for commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.Working closely with Design Managers, project teams, consultants and subcontractors.Reviewing and resolving technical design issues to ensure buildability.Coordinating architectural layouts, construction details and associated design information.Supporting projects through design development and into the construction phase.Maintaining accurate drawing packages and ensuring information is issued in line with project requirements.About YouWe''re looking for a technically strong designer who understands the demands of commercial refurbishment and interior fit-out projects.Ideally, you ..... full job details .....
