Technical Design Authority - must be SC Cleared - 1-2 days London/remote - 6-18 months - £640 - 682 Core skills and experience: Organise and run TDA function (ie, TDA charter, operating model) Broad knowledge of technical architectures (eg, cloud, distributed, monolithic) Good coverage of application, data, integration, infrastructure, security domains Demonstratable understanding of architecture governance (incl., wavers/deviations) Strong understanding of architecture design patterns (incl., integration anti-patterns) Strong understanding of modelling notation (eg, ArchiMate, UML, BPMN) Management and recording of key design decisions (ie, architecture repository) Desirable skills and experience: Familiarity with TOGAF (incl., ADM) Familiarity with Sparx EA Familiarity with Agile methods (eg, SCRUM, SAFe) Knowledge of analysis and design methods (eg, Structured, OOAD) The Technical Architect must be comfortable scheduling and organising meetings, conducting technical architecture reviews, educating and advising development teams, accurately recording design decisions, and researching IT architecture and technology topics. They must have the ability to manage people, navigate conflict, abstract complex themes, problem sole, distil key discussion points, organise work, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
