Responsibilities

Lead engineering teams in a collaborative manner to achieve organisational goals and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship and support to engineers and developers.

Deliver customer journeys across colleague and digital channels; translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Create detailed implementation plans considering key factors required for a technical implementation.

Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews and implement robust testing practices.

Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and team productivity.

Support change management activities and ensure proposed solutions are embedded in the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience delivering customer journeys across colleague and digital channels.

Ability to lead engineering teams and create detailed implementation plans.

Strong collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Enforcement of technology standards and robust testing practices to ensure high-quality solutions.

Proven capability to identify business problems and develop requirements and solutions.

Critical thinking in risk, controls, change and transformation, business acumen and digital and technology skills.

Experience evaluating and improving engineering processes, tools and methodologies; increasing efficiency and productivity.

Strong communication of complex information and ability to influence stakeholders.
