Technical Customer Service Administrator – 12 Month FTC

We are looking for a passionate Technical Customer Service Administrator to join our client's well-established company based on the outskirts of St Albans. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Provide end-to-end post-installation support across a full product portfolio, coordinating technical guidance, engineering activity, spare parts and consumables to deliver consistent experience for B2C consumers and B2B customers.

What’s in it for you?

• Salary: £27k
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-5.30 Fridays 8.30-4pm, office based

Key responsibilities:

• Manage technical and service enquiries across the full company portfolio
• Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting and product guidance, and determine the appropriate service route
• Raise engineer jobs; support engineers with troubleshooting/product information; monitor outcomes and coordinate follow-up with the customer
• Handle quality management cases, engineer service requests and associated purchase orders for products/spare parts
• Manage spare parts and consumables, including facilitation of the portal
• Approve parts, repairs, replacements and returns within defined authority; escalate complex or sensitive cases through the agreed route

What the employer is looking for;

• Minimum 2 years customer service and/or administration experience
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Numerate
• Drives for results and positive outcome
• Pays close attention to detail, and accuracy
• Proactive, with ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Previous experience using SAP is desirable
• Customer First Attitude
