We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven
Technical Coordinator
to join our team and ensure that all scheduled work is ready to go — on time, on budget, and with all the right resources in place.
This is a critical role where your planning and coordination skills will directly support frontline technicians, enabling them to complete essential maintenance work efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and coordinating maintenance activities using
SAP
Ensuring all
tools, materials, permits, and skilled personnel
are in place before work starts
Working closely with Field Performance Managers, Planners, and Technicians to align on work schedules
Understanding
asset care plans
and the criticality of assets within the wider operational environment
Chasing suppliers, coordinating deliveries, and managing the receipting process
Supporting team development by providing
technical advice
and mentoring trainees where needed
Participating in team huddles and contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Keeping costs within budget and sourcing
best-value materials and services
Ensuring that
health and safety requirements
are fully understood and integrated into planning
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
Proven experience in
maintenance planning , ideally in the
Water, Waste, Utilities
or similar technical sector
Strong technical understanding of asset maintenance and job design
Familiarity with
SAP
or similar systems for planning and resource coordination
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident working with suppliers, third parties, and cross-functional teams
Good local knowledge of operational assets and how they interconnect
Clear understanding of
health and safety regulations
A strong communicator and a natural problem-solver
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
A
clean driving licence
is essential

Offering a salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
