This role sits within a nationally operating offsite construction business with a strong reputation for technical delivery and a healthy forward order book. The Technical Coordinator exists to support the setting and maintenance of fa-ade design and compliance standards across projects, ensuring systems are suitable for offsite manufacture and on-site installation. Working closely with the Technical Manager, project delivery teams and fa-ade designers, the role would suit an experienced fa-ade professional who enjoys detailed technical assurance, coordination and problem-solving. The position offers stability, long-term development and exposure to complex fa-ade packages across multiple projects.

As a technical coordinator you will:

• Review and audit fa-ade design and production drawings against contract specifications
• Identify discrepancies, track actions and ensure technical issues are closed out
• Provide technical checks at key milestones including design, manufacture and installation
• Support fa-ade designers and project teams with technical queries and coordination
• Assist with technical submissions, approvals and O&M documentation
• Coordinate technical sign-off activities to protect programme delivery
• Maintain and update glazing and cladding technical specifications and libraries
• Review and technically assess variations, documenting decisions to mitigate risk

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in cladding and glazing or fa-ade design and coordination
• Strong understanding of fa-ade detailing, sequencing and buildability
• Ability to read and interrogate architectural, structural and fa-ade engineering drawings
• Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant British Standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
• Background in architectural technology, construction, building engineering or similar
• Experience supporting offsite manufacture and on-site installation activities
