This is a key role within the business, responsible for reviewing new customer orders, understanding technical requirements and ensuring the most appropriate, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing route is selected.You''ll work closely with customers, production, planning, quality and purchasing, helping to ensure orders are technically correct, commercially viable and delivered on time.The RoleProcessing new sales orders and selecting the most economical and appropriate manufacturing routesReviewing customer specifications, engineering drawings and technical requirementsCarrying out contract reviews of sales orders and manufacturing routingsProviding technical support across the businessCreating Inspection and Test Plans and MPSs based on customer requirementsEnsuring all customer technical and quality requirements are fully understood and metWorking closely with Production Planning to select the best manufacturing route based on capacity and capabilityDealing directly with customers regarding technical queriesLiaising with suppliers and procuring raw materials and finished goods where requiredEnsuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently to maximise production lead timeSupporting ..... full job details .....
