Technical Compliance Officer

I am supporting a fresh produce business in seeking a detail-focused Technical Compliance Officer to help ensure the delivery of safe, legal, and high-quality products. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you''ll play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and compliance standards across site operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards (e.g. BRCGS, GlobalG.A.P., customer specifications)
• Lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement
• Manage non-conformances and corrective actions, including root cause analysis
• Support food safety systems, HACCP processes, and technical projects
• Maintain high hygiene standards across operations
• Oversee accurate record-keeping and KPI reporting
• Supervise a small team and support staff training
• Assist with pest control coordination and site compliance activities

About you:

• Experience in technical compliance within food or fresh produce
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and auditing
• HACCP Level 2 (or higher) and Food Safety Level 2 (or higher) preferred
• Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with flexibility

Benefits:
