Technical Claims Supervisor

Technical Supervisor - Motor Claims Location: Bolton Hybrid Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Supervisor to join a specialist legal and claims environment, supporting the technical quality and development of a high-performing Motor Recoveries Litigation team. The role will combine hands-on litigation work, technical supervision, coaching and continuous improvement, ensuring that claims are handled to the highest technical standards while consistently meeting client SLAs, KPIs and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Technical Manager, Team Leaders and senior stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop technical capability across the team and ensure consistently excellent client service. Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer, with appropriate practice rights, and bring strong and current experience in Motor Recovery claims, either claimant or defendant side. Key Responsibilities Maintain your own caseload of fully litigated Motor Recovery claims, ensuring work is handled to a high technical standard. Supervise and support file handlers in line with the relevant competency framework. Provide ongoing technical coaching, mentoring and development to members of the team. Support the development of pre-litigation handlers, claims handlers issuing proceedings and those handling Small Claims Track matters.
