Technical CAD Estimator

Location: Cumbernauld (Office Based)Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOEJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical CAD Estimator to join a specialist projects team delivering bespoke construction and technical installations across the leisure, wellness and built environment sectors. This role combines CAD design, estimating, supplier coordination and technical proposal support, working on projects from initial enquiry through to installation and handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing technical drawings, preparing cost estimates and supporting the delivery of commercially competitive project proposals. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for a variety of specialist projects. Create concept, construction, manufacturing and as-built drawings. Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine project scope. Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Assist in developing technical solutions and value-engineering options. Prepare technical documentation, specifications and cost summaries for project proposals. Maintain accurate records, drawing registers and estimating information. Support project handovers and collaborate with internal teams throughout project delivery.
