We are seeking a Technical Buyer to take ownership of procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of technical components and materials to support complex automation projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically capable individual with experience in engineering or manufacturing environments to play a key role in supporting project delivery and operational performance.Key Responsibilities:Procurement and SourcingSource and purchase electrical, mechanical, and technical components for engineering projectsIdentify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, securing competitive pricing and termsRaise and manage purchase orders accurately and efficientlyTrack deliveries and ensure materials arrive in line with project timelinesBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsTechnical LiaisonCollaborate closely with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirementsInterpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specificationsSource alternative or equivalent components where requiredSupport sourcing of bespoke or long-lead-time itemsCost and Supplier ManagementNegotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial termsMonitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost)Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement ..... full job details .....
