Technical BDM (Succession Planning) Testing equipment manufacturer Competitive salary + company benefits Manchester Overview We are supporting a growing, specialist testing equipment company that is seeking a brand-new Technical BDM to the structure due to expansion of their successful and innovative product line. They currently supply predominantly within the wastewater sector, however expanding the product line into the hazardous sector is expected to accelerate the business to the next level - be part of it! This is an exciting opportunity to join a company continually developing cutting edge technology with a unique USP and succession planning paved for the right person looking forwards. The Role Reporting directly into the MD, you will be responsible for generating new leads to boost new meetings within a new sector to ultimately close new deals. Due to the level of the role, you will be working closely with the MD from a strategic point of view, to plan the way to successfully supply the product into the new sector. Along the way you will also be working closely with the engineering team and liaising with and managing a distribution network for wider global reach. From a technical point of view, you won t be designing the equipment but expected to understand engineering processes, the difference in site requirements, how it can be deployed and the risk factors involved.
