      <description>Location: Brierley Hill | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;45000/annum | Type: Permanent | We are seeking a  Technical Author  to join our client’s innovative team based in Birmingham, West Midlands. In this strategic leadership role, the  Technical Author  ill be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive technical documentation for a global engineering business that specialises in sophisticated electromechanical products. Your key focus will be on producing clear, accurate manuals, spare parts catalogues, service instructions, and other product literature while spearheading the transition from traditional print formats to multi-channel digital platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technical author or manager to lead a team of professionals, collaborate with cross-functional departments such as R&amp;D and Product Management, and champion modern content strategies including structured authoring, CMS adoption, and reusable content.
