Technical Assurance Manager

HRGO Recruitment is working with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Technical Assurance Manager. This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for protecting product quality, food safety, legality and integrity, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining audit readiness.Reporting into the Site Technical Manager, you will lead the QA and Hygiene teams and ensure robust systems are in place to meet customer expectations and business objectives. Working Hours40 hours per weekMonday - Friday (hours to be agreed)Flexibility required to support business needs and team coverage Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure food safety, legality, quality and integrity through effective technical policies, procedures and controlsSupport and maintain audit readiness and site compliance for BRCGS and customer auditsDevelop and implement robust traceability systems to ensure full product traceability and regulatory complianceLead pest control strategies across the site to protect product integrity and hygiene standardsOversee product testing and environmental monitoring to reduce contamination riskInvestigate customer complaints, complete root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actionsDeliver training on food safety, hygiene and quality standards to site teamsProactively monitor site trends and risks, driving improvementsManage the site non-conformance system, ensuring issues are logged, investigated and closed effectivelyCoordinate ..... full job details .....
