Technical AssistantMelksham, Wiltshire (commutable from Bath) Salary: Up to 40,000 Full Time PermanentOur client is a well-established food manufacturing business looking to strengthen its technical team with the appointment of a Technical Assistant.Working closely with the Technical Manager and wider production team, this role will support food safety, quality and compliance activities across the site, ensuring products consistently meet customer, legal and business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the maintenance and continual improvement of the site''s Quality Management System (QMS)Assist with HACCP, food safety and quality management proceduresComplete factory inspections, GMP audits and hygiene inspectionsInvestigate non-conformances and support corrective and preventative actionsMaintain technical documentation, specifications and production recordsSupport internal, customer and third-party auditsAssist with traceability exercises and product quality investigationsLiaise with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standardsSupport customer and supplier documentation requestsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the siteCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within a food manufacturing environmentExperience within a Technical, Quality, QA or Production role would be advantageousUnderstanding of HACCP, food safety and quality systemsStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsConfident ..... full job details .....
