Technical AssistantLocation - NorthamptonPay - £14.00 - £15.00 per hourHours - 40-45 hours per week + overtime available A well-established food manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Technical Assistant to join its growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food manufacturing or quality experience who enjoys being on the factory floor and working closely with production teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards. This is not a desk-based role - the successful candidate will play a key part in day-to-day factory operations, ensuring compliance, hygiene, GMP, and product quality standards are consistently achieved.Key responsibilities include:Supporting food safety, quality, and compliance systems across the siteMonitoring hygiene, GMP, and production standards on the factory floorAssisting with HACCP documentation, traceability, and technical recordsCarrying out product sampling, microbiological swabbing, and quality testingSupporting third-party audits including BRCGS and retailer auditsWorking closely with production teams to maintain standards and resolve issuesAssisting with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projectsSupporting staff training and promoting a strong food safety cultureWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience within food manufacturing, quality, or technical environmentsComfortable working in a fast-paced production settingStrong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and ..... full job details .....
