Technical Architect - Security Cleared, AWS, RDS, OpenSearch, Java, API Integration, RBAC - Contract We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a leading global technology consultancy on a high-profile government transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale cloud migration initiative, supporting the transition of multiple critical services to a modern cloud hosting platform. Key Responsibilities Work closely with engineering teams, business analysts, testers, and stakeholders to define technical specifications Produce architecture artefacts including high- and low-level designs, impact assessments, and reference architectures Provide architectural consultancy and act as an SME across the programme Present architectural decisions and documentation to governance boards Ensure solutions align with architecture principles, standards, and non-functional requirements Collaborate with business teams to assess feasibility and refine requirements Support delivery planning through cost estimates and technical input Key Skills andamp; Experience Strong experience as a Technical or Solution Architect AWS cloud platform expertise (including AWS RDS) Experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch) Knowledge of document management/viewer technologies RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) implementation experience Strong Java background Experience with API integrations and distributed systems Proven experience delivering within complex, ..... full job details .....
