Technical Architect - Discovery

Technical Architect / Outside IR35/ Remote/ 6 Month Contract We''re looking for an experienced Technical Architect to support a major technical debt discovery and remediation programme across multiple government departments. The role will take ownership of the architectural workstream, assessing existing technology estates and producing a pragmatic roadmap covering immediate improvements and more complex, longer-term remediation. Role Requirements: UK Public Sector Experience Experience leading technical discovery and assessment exercises identifying technical debt, risks and capability gaps Infrastructure, cloud and enterprise architecture experience Experience interviewing technical authorities and senior stakeholder Produced remediation roadmaps and architectural recommendations Working across complex digital transformation programmes This role requires someone pragmatic, hands-on and able to hit the ground running.
