i-confidential . Location: Edinburgh or Sheffield (2 days per week). Type: Contract (inside IR35). Duration: 6 months.
RoleAs a Technical Solutions Delivery Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end solution design across complex cybersecurity initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, design authorities, and technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals, architectural standards, and security best practices. This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical leadership, architectural thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
Document architecture patterns, design decisions, and technical risks.
Present solutions to senior stakeholders and design authorities.
Act as a subject matter expert in SSH key management and privileged access.
Ensure governance and peer review of all design artefacts.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
Skills and Experience
Proven expertise in
cybersecurity architecture , particularly in
SSH key management , identity and access management, and cryptography.
Experience working on large-scale IT transformation programmes.
Strong understanding of architectural governance and technical risk management.
Proficiency in tools such as
BizzDesign, Archi, UML ,
Jira , and
Confluence .
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
