This is a senior position requiring someone who can operate confidently at both a strategic and hands-on level, bringing together architecture, engineering, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced NHS environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and own the technical architecture across the programme, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to NHS standards and frameworksProvide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, setting direction on tooling, patterns, and best practiceDesign and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and securityDrive Java-based development standards and architectural decisions across the codebaseEngage with NHS stakeholders and third party suppliers to align technical approaches with programme requirementsIdentify and manage technical risk, producing documentation and recommendations to support governance and assurance processesSupport technical onboarding of new team members and suppliersContribute to technical planning, roadmaps, and ..... full job details .....
