Role Overview

Catalyst, a reputable independent provider of technical advisory services to the Real Estate sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Advisor to join our UK team. As a Technical Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert guidance and support to our major investor, asset manager, and developer clients. Your extensive knowledge in Architecture, technical due diligence, and building standards will be essential in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and design guidance.Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical advice and solutions into our clients'' projects.Deliver our services as a technical subject matter expert in Architecture, drawing on your strong onsite experience to provide valuable guidance and support to our major investor, asset manager, and developer clients.Demonstrate a strong ability understanding of technical design principles and apply this knowledge to evaluate and enhance the safety of properties within the Real Estate sector.Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence activities, including desktop reviews and peer reviews of relevant information, to ensure compliance, general best practices, and client requirements.Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients and stakeholders.Review new innovative products/ modular systems and make a determination on compliance with the UK Building Regulations.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of applicable legislation and design guidance related to Architecture including a deep understanding of the Building Regulations.Carry out site inspections and produce site inspection reports highlighting non-compliances and key findings.Requirements

Registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) is required. Membership on other Professional bodies (RIBA, RIAS, RSAW, CIAT, etc) is desirable.8+ years’ experience within industry.Possess strong and proven design expertise gained across a variety of projects, including medium and largescale residential housing, multi-unit and mixed use developments.Self-motivated, organised and reliable along with a professional approach and demeanour.Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.Possess exceptional technical ability with detailed knowledge of the UK building regulations.Benefits
