Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to join the Property Maintenance team within a local authority in Belfast on a temporary basis. Incoming candidate will support the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services across a diverse property portfolio, working closely with colleagues to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
Main Duties:
- Supporting the coordination of M&E services activities in line with service objectives
- Managing and updating an integrated records management system, including condition survey databases, planned maintenance programmes, building logbooks, CAD document depositories and compliance databases
- Inputting condition survey and compliance data into the property database, and producing management reports as required
- Responding to requests for information on quality, compliance, M&E services and condition issues using relevant software
- Producing and processing procurement documentation, raising purchase orders, and liaising with quantity surveyors
- Ensuring the timely and accurate update of information systems with certificates, service reports, contractor reports and other essential documentation
- Assisting in the maintenance and control of maintenance contract records, and supporting the production of reports relating to planned maintenance, compliance and other M&E-related data
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative or technical support role within property maintenance, building services, facilities management, or mechanical and electrical services
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to maintain and update databases and records accurately
- Experience with document control and producing management reports
- Knowledge of compliance, planned maintenance and/or condition survey processes is desirable
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
