Interim Technical Accounting Lead6-Month Contract Hybrid Working Immediate Start Luton - Hybrid 600 - 750 p/dOur client is seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accounting Lead to support the launch of a major new customer loyalty programme. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong IFRS 15 and revenue recognition experience who can help design and implement the accounting framework, processes, controls and reporting required to support the new programme.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the accounting workstream for the loyalty programme launchDevelop and document accounting policies and technical papersDesign revenue recognition, deferred revenue and contract liability processesDevelop accounting models and methodologies, including SSP and breakage calculationsCreate month-end accounting procedures, journals and controlsPrepare financial reporting and disclosure requirementsWork closely with Finance, Commercial, Technology and Project teamsSupport transition into BAU Finance operationsAbout YouYou''ll ideally be:ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualifiedExperienced in IFRS 15 and complex revenue recognitionStrong in technical accounting and financial reportingAble to translate accounting requirements into practical processes and controlsExperienced in implementing accounting solutions for new products, systems or business modelsComfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environmentIf you have strong IFRS 15, technical accounting and revenue recognition experience, ..... full job details .....
