Technical Accountant3 Month ContractLocation: Home/London (3 days a week onsite)Rate: £650 - £700 per day (Inside IR35)Skills: IFRS15, Revenue Recognition, IFRS, UK GAAP, Statutory Reporting, Audit, ControlsWe are working with a leading technology organisation seeking an experienced Technical Accountant to take ownership of revenue recognition practices and ensure full compliance with IFRS15.This is a key role within the finance function, focused on reviewing current revenue recognition processes, identifying gaps, and implementing robust, scalable solutions across the business.Key responsibilities:Lead a detailed review of current revenue recognition practices under IFRS15Design and implement improved accounting policies and processesOwn the delivery of IFRS15-compliant frameworks across the organisationProduce and update technical accounting policies and documentationPartner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive change and understandingSupport statutory reporting and work closely with external auditorsStrengthen internal controls and governance around revenueKey requirements:Proven experience implementing IFRS15 policies in a software or technology businessStrong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS and UK GAAPExperience managing statutory reporting and external audit processesSolid understanding of internal controls frameworksAbility to influence and engage senior stakeholders across the businessExperience working with geographically dispersed ..... full job details .....
