Technical Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Technical Account Manager / Sales with a leading company in specialist design and manufacture.
The role will be suited to applicants who are experienced in providing or wish to gain a further understanding in a full sales process or have previous experience of qualifying leads, preparation and delivery of proposals and quotations, closing of sales and/or customer relationship management. You will be able to develop high quality, ongoing relationships with customers to improve the likelihood of repeat business.
What will you be doing?
- Act as one of the primary points of contact for customers seeking information or quotations. -
- Support the Business Development Manager with proposals and quotations for newly qualified leads.
- Work with customers to understand requirements and inhouse engineers on system design and subsequent quoting (specifications/equipment schedules, schematics, other drawings etc).
- Seek to build long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities. Be first point of contact for customer relationships to manage and mitigate any post delivery requirements, liaising with technical teams for resolution.
- Follow the sales process to close recording in company software. Monitor and report progress in weekly sales meetings.
- Follow up on quoted projects for feedback and to build relationships with customers. Attend virtual or in-person meetings where necessary.
- Liaise with internal and external engineers, technical teams and project managers.

- Highly motivated and able to work individually and within a team
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent team player
- Excellent communicator and good written skills for the production of quotations
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Existing experience of working with Mechanical & Electrical contractors (Estimators/Quantity Surveyors/Project Managers)
- Excellent IT skills
- CAD skills are preferred
