Tech Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL, and Enterprise Data Platforms, along with deep knowledge of the Pharma/Life Sciences domain, particularly R&D and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data architectures, data models, schemas, and integration frameworks.
• Develop scalable data warehouse, data lake, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Lead data migration, ETL/ELT, data quality, and data integration initiatives.
• Define and enforce data governance, metadata, security, and compliance standards.
• Optimize data storage, performance, and accessibility across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Provide architectural recommendations and improve existing data management frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Data Modelling, including hands-on experience with Erwin and/or ER Studio.
• Strong experience in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL, and Enterprise Big Data Platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences industry, with a strong understanding of R&D data and LIMS.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end Life Sciences data project.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Security, and Data Quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience in Pharma regulatory and compliance environments.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud and enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
