Team Manager- Youth Justice Service Team- Cornwall

Cornwall Council required social worker to join as an Team Manager required for work within the Youth Justice Service in Cornwall area in St Austell. Competitive rates of pay up to -43.70ph. 3 months initially with possibility to extend ,37 hours per week. Flexible hybrid working arrangements..

The primary role of a Team Manager is practice development, line management functions, supervision and support for a range of practitioners undertaking statutory social work and Youth Justice assessments and co-ordinating complex multi disciplinary plans for young people. Experience in working with practitioners supporting complex adolescents, knowledge and understanding or trauma informed practice. Knowledge or interest in Youth Justice Services.

*Developing close and constructive working relationships with a variety of professionals. An understanding of the need to recognise the importance of partnership working to safeguard children is essential.
*The ability to work at pace, prioritising where required in order to ensure that the children and families access services in a timely way.
*Previous experience of leading and managing a busy front line children''s services team

You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
