In this role you will manage a team of colleagues within the Technical team, working to deliver a high quality product to our customers. Reporting into the Technical Manager, other responsibilities include: Managing a team of Operatives, as a strong people developer and performance manager through a coaching leadership style Overseeing the establishment of short and medium term plans and KPI targets Implementation of and compliance to Technical policies Playing an active role in achieving site accreditations where applicable Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards comply with BRC and Morrisons food safety standards Monitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basis Setting performance targets and reviewing progress and creating action plans to improve performance (including reducing of costs and the improvement of standards across all areas) Looking for solutions to problems and driving continuous improvement strategies Spotting and developing talent in your team through coaching and guidance Looking after colleague welfare and improving attendance standards Allocating tasks and holding daily shift briefs, and being accountable for the weekly ..... full job details .....
