Team Manager
Team Manager Main purpose of job Reporting to the relevant Directors, the post holder will be responsible for managing the casework, staff and performance within their team. As the lead of a team of investigative/casework staff, the post holder will ensure that organisational standards and targets for the team are met and provide high quality, technical advice, advice on jurisdiction, investigation strategy and case direction advice on a range of assessments/investigations within the jurisdiction of NIPSO. The post holder will also act as part of the relevant service leadership team to develop and implement changes to the way we work and drive continuous improvement. Remuneration The salary for this post is currently equivalent to NJC PO5 which is £49,282 to £52,413. The pay award for 2026/27 NJC pay scales has not yet been agreed. Location The role will be based at NIPSO, Progressive House, 33 Wellington Place, Belfast, BT1 6HN. Working Arrangements We operate hybrid working arrangements i.e. a mix of working from home and from the office which offers employees additional workstyle choices. Candidates should note that whilst we do have a flexible approach, the operational requirements are likely to require office based working a minimum of 2 days per week.
