This is a rewarding opportunity to oversee a specialist service supporting Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC), care leavers awaiting Home Office decisions, and families with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).About the TeamThe team provides vital support to children, young people and families navigating complex immigration and social care processes, ensuring that statutory duties are met while achieving positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Team Manager, you will:Provide leadership, supervision and oversight to a multidisciplinary social work team.Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning and interventions for children and families.Lead on safeguarding, looked after children procedures and leaving care responsibilities.Oversee work with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and families with NRPF.Support staff to understand and respond effectively to immigration-related issues.Work collaboratively with immigration advisors, partner agencies and internal stakeholders.Deliver training, guidance and professional development to staff.Drive a culture of excellent practice that is systemic, trauma-informed and anti-racist.Monitor performance, ..... full job details .....
