Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage a Community Locality Mental Health Team delivering adult social care services. Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to Social Workers and other practitioners within the team. Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning and person-centred interventions are delivered. Oversee safeguarding activity and ensure appropriate risk management and decision-making. Work closely with health colleagues and wider multidisciplinary partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users. Ensure practice is compliant with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and relevant adult social care legislation. Monitor team performance, workload and quality of practice. Support the development and continuous improvement of services and practice. Provide effective management oversight and ensure work is completed within required timescales.
