Team Manager - Family Support & Safeguarding Team

We are looking to recruit a Team Manager in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Team Manager includes:

• Manage the delivery of social work services to children and their families in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure delivery of these services are managed within budget and in line with quality standards.
• Ensure that children and families referred to the service receive appropriate services relevant to their needs.
• To ensure the quality and standards of professional practice and performance are achieved in each team.

To ideal candidate will have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
