Job Purpose    To ensure the Council provides a first class professional service within the social work team by being responsible for the efficient and cost effective provision of a needs-led services to children, young people and their families.  Managing a team of Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers and Family Support Workers.    Key responsibilities    To manage the social work team, to be responsible for the provision of services to children and young people, ensuring that child protection enquiries, assessments &amp; support services are consistently completed to a high standard.
