Direct Payment Team Manager, 6 month Secondment/Fixed Term role across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. Lead a small team to help residents take control over their care and support, championing choice and independence.Working Style
Based in the Borough for three days a week, with frontline and behind-the-scenes duties supporting the local community.What You’ll Be Doing
Lead a team responsible for setting up and supporting direct payments across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.Provide hands-on leadership to shape service delivery and person-centred approaches across both boroughs.Guide and support the team to meet performance targets while maintaining high standards and driving improvements.Promote understanding of direct payments among colleagues and partners.What You’ll Bring
Qualified social worker with current registration and experience managing or leading adult social care teams.Understanding of direct payments and related legislation; commitment to giving people choice and control.Calm under pressure, decisive, experienced in complex multi-agency environments.Excellent communication, ability to inspire, influence and collaborate; strong grasp of performance data and systems.Curiosity, compassion, and commitment to delivering effective services.Why join us
