Team Leader (Tenancy & Estate Management)

Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader (Tenancy & Estate Management) to join the team based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,444 - £43,149 per annum.

Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for delivering excellent services to tenants and communities?

We are seeking an additional permanent full-time Team Leader to manage our Tenancy & Estate Management and Tenancy Sustainment teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management services. You will lead a team responsible for tenancy management, estate management, tenancy sustainment, safeguarding, and responding to anti-social behaviour, while driving service performance and continuous improvement.

Working closely with internal teams and partner agencies, you will support tenants to sustain their tenancies, ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory standards, and help create safe, thriving communities.

The successful candidate will have experience of housing management, staff supervision, performance management, partnership working, and dealing with complex tenancy issues. Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills are essential.
