Team Leader - Signals and Telecoms

Our client is seeking a Team Leader - Signals and Telecoms to lead safety-critical inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal activities across railway signalling assets. This permanent role combines technical signalling expertise with team leadership to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with Network Rail standards.Key Responsibilities:Directing and organising daily team activities to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of workEstablishing and maintaining appropriate safety arrangements and safe systems of workLeading by example and promoting a strong safety cultureManaging work quality, asset compliance and team competenceOverseeing signalling control systems, track circuits, point machines and mechanical and electrical signalling equipmentEnsuring vehicles, tools, plant, equipment and materials are safe and fit for purposeProducing operational, performance and compliance reportsWorking hands-on with the team when required and supporting the delivery of maintenance and renewal activitiesJob Requirements:Experience of organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of workKnowledge of signalling inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal techniquesSMTH competence or relevant signalling maintenance expertiseWorking knowledge of relevant railway standards, procedures and instructions, including NR/L3/SIG/10663 and NR/L3/SIG/11231Proven ability to lead, motivate and influence a teamStrong verbal and written communication ..... full job details .....
