Team Leader – Children's Residential Home

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and established children''s residential care provider seeking a dedicated-Team Leader-to join their team in Milton Keynes.

The Role
As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day operation of the home, providing guidance and leadership to Residential Support Workers whilst ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and motivate a team of Residential Support Workers.
- Promote the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Support the implementation and review of individual care plans.
- Conduct staff supervisions and provide ongoing guidance and development.
- Work collaboratively with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as a positive role model for both young people and staff.
- Support the home''s commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and children''s residential care practices.
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
Desirable
- Previous Team Leader or Senior Residential Support Worker experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
