About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of General Operatives to achieve daily targets
* Oversee sorting, dismantling, and processing of electrical equipment for recycling and disposal
* Allocate tasks and manage workflow to maximise productivity and efficiency
* Ensure all items are prepared in line with company and environmental regulations
* Monitor team performance and provide coaching, support, and feedback
* Carry out and oversee quality control checks to maintain high standards
* Ensure safe handling of electrical goods and materials at all times
* Enforce and promote strict adherence to health and safety procedures
* Complete shift reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively with management
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar Team Leader or supervisory role is essential
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
* Good understanding of recycling processes or similar industrial/production environments
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
* Basic IT skills for reporting and operational tracking
