Due to continued expansion, there are immediate vacancies, with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent contract.The RoleAs a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a production team on the back shift, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate a production team to achieve shift targetsEnsure a safe working environment, taking action on any hazards or risksMaintain food safety, quality, hygiene and housekeeping standards at all timesMonitor performance, minimise downtime, optimise changeovers and reduce wasteManage staffing, breaks and task allocation across the shiftSupport training, coaching and development of team membersAssist with cost control through accurate reporting and efficient use of materialsSkills and ExperienceProven experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in food production or similar fast-paced manufacturingStrong leadership and team coordination skillsConfident in training, developing and engaging team membersExcellent communication and organisational skillsAble to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisionsPC literate (MS Office essential; ..... full job details .....
