Your new role
As Team Leader - Domestic Abuse (DVA), you will lead a local team delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support to clients. You''ll ensure staff are well-supported through regular supervision and contribute to service improvements and compliance.
Key Duties Include:
- Deliver regular supervisions and check-ins to ensure team members feel supported.
- Manage a caseload of clients offering tailored, trauma-informed support.
- Provide clients with accurate advice, information, and an enabling service to support their independence.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date client records in line with service standards.
- Promote client involvement and feedback to shape service delivery.
- Collaborate with external agencies to maximise opportunities for clients.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and incidents professionally.
- Support volunteers and mentor social work students.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
Location: Bath & Northeast SomersetSalary: -27,810 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
What you''ll need to succeed
- Experience and understanding of working with vulnerable individuals and/or socially excluded people.- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and supervise workloads.
- A flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
- A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance required).
