Location: Leominster (newly registered) and Bodenham (in registration) – 2-bed homes for children with EBD
Salary: Up to £34,963 per annum (including sleep-in allowance)

With one home in Leominster already registered and awaiting its first young person, and the second in Bodenham progressing through registration, this is a unique chance to help shape services from the beginning.
About the Role:
You’ll lead by example in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and young people. This is a hands-on leadership role in a small team, where your commitment and resilience will be key to helping children feel safe, supported, and valued.
• Oversee and support the daily running of the home in line with care plans and safeguarding regulations
• Provide supervision, guidance, and motivation to staff
• Build trusting relationships with children and young people, promoting their emotional and social development
• Ensure all care is delivered in line with policies, procedures, and Ofsted standards
• Participate fully in the shift pattern, including sleep-ins (£60 per sleep)

About You:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Flexible to work on a shift/rota basis (9.30am–11pm, sleep-in, 7am–10am – single or double shifts)
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care
• Resilient, compassionate, and calm under pressure
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
