  • Review, update, and embed individual care plans and risk assessments with staff.
  • Monitor and improve quality of care through shift leadership and reflective supervision.

Empowering Young People

  • Promote a culture where children feel seen, heard, and valued.
  • Offer direct emotional support, positive role modelling, and guidance through daily challenges.
  • Encourage the expression of children's views and involve them in their own planning and decisions.
  • Attend and advocate in planning meetings, ensuring children's needs and voices are represented.

Promoting Wellbeing & Progress

  • Help children access education, healthcare, and community life with enthusiasm and structure.
  • Plan and support activities that nurture creativity, confidence, and meaningful experiences.

  • Contribute to and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans to support safe, compassionate approaches.

Leadership & Supervision

  • Follow risk assessments rigorously, responding calmly and appropriately to incidents.
  • Uphold a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination and always model respectful communication.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in children's residential care (including shift leadership).
  • A calm, emotionally intelligent approach to conflict, stress, and uncertainty.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to model and promote therapeutic, trauma-informed care.

What You'll Gain

  • A fulfilling leadership role with tangible impact.
  • A values-based team that prioritises connection, stability, and growth.
  • Opportunities for professional development and internal progression.
  • A supportive environment grounded in empathy, structure, and purpose.
