Team Leader

SURE STAFFING is currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader on behalf of one of our best clients based in YO24.

Role Overview

You will support the Production Supervisor/Manager in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring staff are trained, food safety and quality standards are met, and production targets are achieved. You will also provide cover in the supervisor’s absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to achieve operational objectives and KPIs.

• Ensure food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

• Carry out food safety and quality checks (including CCPs).

• Oversee safe machine operation, completing start-up checks and reporting defects.

• Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately.

• Deliver orders to the highest standard, on time, and in line with customer specifications.

• Minimise waste and maximise efficiency.

• Assist with preparation for audits and support during visits.

• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
