Job Title: Team Leader – Children's Residential Home
Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a children's residential home in Middleton. The successful candidate will support young people with emotional and behavioural needs, while leading shifts and guiding a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of residential care staff

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people at all times

• Promote a nurturing, structured environment in line with care plans

• Complete and oversee accurate record keeping

• Support with training and development of junior staff

• Take part in the on-call and sleep-in rota

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

• At least 1 year’s experience working with young people in residential care

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Confident in leading shifts and supervising staff

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's regulations

Benefits:
